We want to ask them Wednesdays.......................................................

Anonymous from Brooklyn said.........

Why are men so afraid of settling down and getting married. Is it that they don't think one woman can satisfy all of their needs?

Hmmmmmm..... Fellas?

  2. maybe men feel that marriage itself favors women. That feeling holds some validity since if the marriage ends for whatever reasons the man has to pay alimony to his x until another man takes over.Or how about the fact that whatever you own at the time of your divorce is now chopped in half. I think men realize that you give up whatever control they think they have as soon as they say i do.

  3. Let me preface this by saying I am happily married for 8 years to a man I've been with for 20 years. I didn't want to get married he did for all those years in between. I think that the money/divorce issue is a cop out, because for the most part men these days don't have sh*t or their girls has more than they do. So she's the one who will pay. The problem is black men always think somebody wants what they don't have. And we know most of the things that are acquired were bought by both parties so why shouldn't it be 50-50. It's the women who should look out. What men wind up paying for are their kids, and we know how a lot men feel about that! Men don't get married because as lrob said, they think they will miss out on something better and they want an easy out.
